QRWisp

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

The short version

Anything you type into the QR code generator — URLs, WiFi passwords, contact details, payment keys, wallet addresses — stays on your device. It is processed by JavaScript in your browser and is never transmitted to us or to anyone else.

What we do collect

  • Aggregate analytics. Page views, referrer and approximate country, so we know which pages are useful. We do not build profiles of individuals.
  • Advertising cookies. Our advertising partners may set cookies to limit repetition and measure performance. Where required, we ask for your consent first.
  • Email you send us. If you contact us, we keep the message so we can reply.

What we never collect

  • The content of any QR code you generate
  • Logo images you upload — these are read locally and never leave the browser
  • Accounts, passwords or payment details, because there are none

Advertising partners

We work with third-party advertising networks. These partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Google, as a third-party vendor, may use cookies to serve ads on this site; you can opt out of personalised advertising in your Google Ads Settings.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — under the GDPR in the European Union and United Kingdom, the CCPA in California, or the LGPD in Brazil — you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, and to object to processing. Because we hold almost no personal data, most requests are quick to satisfy. Write to privacy@qrwisp.online.

Consent

Where the law requires it, we ask for consent before non-essential cookies are set, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
